I’m Yara, a warm, enthusiastic and adventurous nanny based in Utrecht. I provide personal childcare in your family’s own home, where children can feel safe, comfortable and free to be themselves. I’ve been working as a professional nanny in the Netherlands since August 2023, caring for children of all ages from tiny babies to teenagers. 

What do I love most about my work?
Getting to know each child, finding out what makes them smile, and turning everyday moments into little adventures. 🌿✨

I like to get to know each child as their own little person and adapt to your family’s routines, values and way of doing things.

Whether your child needs a calm afternoon at home, lots of outdoor adventures or a little extra support with their daily rhythm. I’m there to follow their needs and make them feel comfortable.


I see myself as a warm and reliable “big sister” figure someone children can feel safe with and parents can trust.

Belgian roots
Born and raised in Belgium, I’ve been living and working in the Netherlands since 2023.

🌍 Two languages, one big heart
I speak both Dutch (Flemish) and English, so international families are very welcome too!

🏄‍♀️ My happy place? On the water!
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me paddleboarding or exploring somewhere outdoors.

🌧️ Rain? Let’s go!
I’m a big believer that outdoor adventures don’t stop when the weather changes. A little mud never hurt anyone! 

♻️ Nanny by day, clean-up crew by… well, whenever!
I volunteer with Clean Up On Tour, combining my love for the outdoors with caring for our environment.

🥗 I’m vegetarian
But don’t worry if your family eats meat, I’m perfectly happy to cook it for you.

I’ve worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, so every day can look completely different.

I want Children to feel seen, heard and comfortable being themselves.
My care is about more than keeping children busy. It’s about giving them space to play, explore, feel, learn and simply be children.
